Psalm 27:14: Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

I’ve felt the weight of a broken heart,
Felt love slip away, watched it fall apart.
In the silence, I wait, in the stillness, I pray,
God, where are You? Will You make a way?
He whispers, “Wait for Me, be strong,”
Even when the nights feel endless and long.
I cry out, but He’s teaching me still—
That even in heartbreak, I must trust His will.
In this waiting, I’m learning to heal,
To let go of the wounds I used to conceal.
He’s mending the pieces of who I once was,
And showing me purpose, wrapped in His love.
“Take courage,” He says, “your heart will mend,”
For every tear is part of the plan He intends.
Though I feel lost, alone, and unseen,
God is working in places I’ve never been.
So I wait in the pain, and I wait in the ache,
Trusting the Lord with each step I take.
He’s shaping my heart, restoring my soul,
In this season of waiting, He’s making me whole.
